On 12/9/2013, Richard E. Catrett submitted a Rezoning application to rezone the
properties located at 8451, 8461 and 8501 Fortson Road from RE1 (Residential
Estate 1)/ GC (General Commercial) with Conditions zoning district to GC
(General Commercial) zoning district. The site is approximately 40.1 acres.
The purpose of the rezoning is for the relocation of Flatrock Sand & Gravel.
The properties are located in Council District 2 (Davis).
The Planning Advisory Commission recommended Approval and and the Planning
Department recommended Conditional Approval.
Attached is a land use map showing the location of the property along with the
current/proposed site plan. The Planning Department will include this request
on Council?s February 11th?s agenda. A staff report will be sent to the Clerk
of Council.
