On 6/16/2014, Liberty Hill Baptist Church/Robert Jones submitted a Special
Exception Use application to construct Place of Worship, 250 or More Seats.
The property is located in an SFR2 (Single Family Residential 2) zoning
district. The site for the proposed Place of Worship, 250 or More Seats is
approximately 7.51 acres. Places of Worship, 250 or More Seats are permitted in
an SFR2 zoning district only on a site-specific basis upon approval of the
Council based upon some conditions.
Attached is a land use map showing the location of the property along with the
proposed site plan. The Planning Department has recommended Conditional
Approval. The request will be on Council?s August 26th?s agenda. A staff
report will be sent to the Clerk of Council prior to the Council meeting date.
