Subject: Variance request received by Planning Department to waive street frontage
requirements

On May 25, 2006, Sarah Hubbuch submitted a variance request to waive street
frontage requirements for a residential subdivision. The property is located
at 8851-4 Moore Road. The applicant is proposing to subdivide an existing lot
into six residential lots. The property is currently zoned RE1 (Residential
Estate 1). This variance request is allowed only by approval of City Council
on a case-by-case basis.
Please find attached: 1) a site plan displaying the proposed layout of the
property, and 2) a map illustrating the general location of the site. Planning
Department staff is currently reviewing the request. The applicant?s request
will be placed on the Columbus Council Agenda for Tuesday, June 20, 2006 at
9:00 am. A staff report will be sent to the Clerk of Council prior to the
council meeting date.
