Subject: Special Exception Use request has been submitted
On November 16, 2009, Dorothy Smith on behalf of S.T.A.R Ministries, submitted
a Special Exception Use application requesting approval to allow a place of
worship with more than 250 seats on the property. The request was presented at
the Planning Advisory Commission Meeting on December 16th, 2009. The Planning
Advisory Commission and the Planning Department have recommended approval of
the requests. The request will go before City Council for 1st reading on
Tuesday, February 9th, 2010. The relevant information is as follows:
