Subject: Street Name Conflict
There will be a public meeting on October 21 at 5:00 p.m. in the Pop Austin
Recreation Center, 1331 Alexander Street, regarding street name conflicts
between two existing City streets. Both streets each have sections with Abbott
Avenue and Crockett Drive addresses but the two are not physically connected.
Representatives from Public Safety and Department of Engineering will be
present to discuss possible remedies to minimize any confusion that might occur
for Public Safety response. A complaint has been received from a resident in
the area.
