Jordan Mills -
A hearing was held December 20th for the property at 2700 12th Ave (Jordan
Mills). The owner has agreed to demolish the burned buildings. The owner is in
the process of selecting a contractor and demolition will begin as soon as
possible.
Kitty MacLachlan -
Per Rebecca Wiggins - Reaves Wrecking Co. has permits to demolish nine
buildings; they have a contract with the property owner to accomplish the work
privately. Buildings #5, 6, 7, and 13 have been demolished; Reaves' crews
were abating asbestos in buildings #14 & 15 today when I made an inspection.
The demolition is going very quickly and smoothly. The site is a little muddy
because of recent rains, but looked much better than I expected in that regard.
Repairs to building #20 were completed last week and we have approved the
work.
