I. MENTAL HEALTH COURT GRANT:
Approval is requested to accept a Criminal Justice Coordinating
Council?s Grant award of $203,768 or as otherwise awarded for the purpose of
funding the Muscogee County Mental Health Court and to amend the
multi-governmental fund by the amount awarded. The grant is $203,768 with a
required match of $22,641. The total grant amount is $226,409. This is a
one-year grant starting July 1, 2017 and ending June 30, 2018.
II. VETERANS COURT GRANT:
Approval is requested to accept a Criminal Justice Coordinating
Council?s Grant award of $53,545 or as otherwise awarded for the purpose of
funding the Muscogee County Veterans Treatment Court and to amend the
multi-governmental fund by the amount awarded. The grant is $53,545 with a
required match of $5,949. The total grant amount is $59,494. This is a
one-year grant starting July 1, 2017 and ending June 30, 2018.
III. FY18 FAMILY CONNECTION GRANT:
Approval is requested to submit an application and if approved, accept
funds from the Georgia Department of Human Services for a Family Connection
grant in the amount of $48,500, with no local match required, and to amend the
Family Connection Fund 0985 by the amount of the grant awarded.
IV. UGA/CCG COUNTY EXTENSION PERSONNEL CONTRACT/M.O.U:
Approval is requested to have the University of Georgia and Columbus
Consolidated Government enter into a County Extension Personnel
Contract/Memorandum of Understanding.

V. CONTRACT BETWEEN CCG AND BOARD OF REGENTS OF THE UNIVERSITY SYSTEM OF
GEORGIA:
Approval is requested to have the Board of Regents of the University
System of Georgia on behalf of University of Georgia Cooperative Extension
Service and Columbus Consolidated Government to enter into a contract to pay
salary, optional retirement and social security/medical cost for one County
Extension Agent from July 1, 2017 - June 30, 2018.
