An Ordinance amending the Zoning Atlas of the Consolidated Government
of Columbus, Georgia; this amendment changes certain boundaries of a district
located at 4206 University Avenue from NC (Neighborhood Commercial) District to
RO (Residential Office) District.
THE COUNCIL OF COLUMBUS, GEORGIA, HEREBY ORDAINS:
That the Zoning Atlas on file with the Planning Division of the
Department of Community and Economic Development be, and the same is hereby
amended by changing the following described property NC (Neighborhood
Commercial) District to RO (Residential Office) District:
All that tract or parcel of land lying in and being Part of Land Lots 28 and
33, 8th District, Columbus, Muscogee County, Georgia being more particularly
described as follows: Commence at an iron stake at the westerly end of a miter
which forms the intersection of the westerly line of Windham Drive and the
northeasterly line of University Avenue; thence northwesterly along the
northeasterly line of University Avenue 444.11 feet to an iron stake at the
POINT OF BEGINNING; thence continuing along the northeasterly line of
University Avenue (for the following five calls) along the arc of a
counterclockwise curve (said arc has a radius of 996.93 feet and is subtended
by a 23.90 foot chord bearing North 28 degrees 59 minutes 20 seconds West),
23.90 feet to an iron stake; thence North 01 degree 33 minutes 22 seconds East,
30.21 feet to a concrete monument; thence North 32 degrees 07 minutes 32
seconds West, 39.79 feet to a concrete monument; thence North 73 degrees 55
minutes 42 seconds West, 25.08 feet to a concrete monument; thence
northwesterly along the arc of a counterclockwise curve (said arc has a radius
of 996.93 feet and is subtended by a 125.05 foot chord bearing North 38 degrees
