I. OPTIONAL RELOCATION POLICY:
Authorization is requested for establishing and adopting an optional business
relocation policy and an optional residential relocation policy that will make
available assistance under this policy to any business or rental residential
units required to relocate due to the City?s acquisition of the property by
governmental activity without activating the Uniform Relocation Act. An agenda
report and resolution are attached. (Delayed from December 12, 2006 Council
Meeting)
II. FREQUENCY RECONFIGURATION AGREEMENT:
Authorization is requested to execute a Frequency Reconfiguration Agreement
for the Medical Center with the Sprint Nextel for the purpose of swapping 800
Megahertz frequencies as mandated by the Federal Communications Commission
(FCC). An agenda report and resolution are attached.
III. RIGHT OF WAY ACQUISITION - WHITTLESEY ROAD WIDENING PROJECT:
Authorization is requested to execute a Contract for Acquisition of Right of
Way State-Aid/Federal-Aid Project (Reimbursable) for Whittlesey Road Widening
Project. An agenda report and resolution are attached.

Scope of Bid
Provide one (1) cab and chassis for a combination sewer-cleaning machine to be
used by the Rainwater Management Division of the Public Services Department.

Scope of Bid
Provide a two-brush bus wash system, NS Wash Systems 3100 (or equal), to Metra
Transit System. The vendor shall provide a complete operational automatic
drive-through wash system, including activating switches, electrical solenoids
and motor starters. The vendor is responsible for removal of the existing
T-2000 system.
2. Service Contract for Various Types of Transmissions (Annual Contract) ? RFB

Scope of Bid
Provide repair/rebuild various types of transmissions to METRA Transit System
on an ?as needed? basis. The contract period will be for two years with the
option to renew for three additional twelve-month periods.

Scope of Bid
Provide 35? Low Floor Buses to METRA on an ?as needed basis?. The City
anticipates purchasing approximately 12 buses during fiscal year 2007 through
fiscal year 2012. The contract term shall be for one year with the option to
renew for five (5) additional twelve-month periods. The renewal will be based
solely upon the mutual agreement of both parties, the Columbus Consolidated
Government and the Contractor.

Scope of Bid
Provide two (2) ball field groomers to be used by the Parks and Recreation
Department.

Scope of Bid
Provide one E-4 GEM electric vehicle to be used by the Columbus Police
Department for demonstrating the effects of drinking and driving to the public.

Scope of RFP
Columbus Consolidated Government is seeking proposals from qualified vendors to
provide roadside traffic counters/recorders for use by the Traffic Engineering
Division. This proposal should allow the Traffic Engineering Division to
purchase approximately 25 to 35 traffic counters/recorders, depending on price
and funding.
