I. INSOLVENT PERSONAL PROPERTY:



Authorization is requested of a resolution to execute the Certificate of

Insolvent Tax Fi Fas. Levies from 1998 and 1999 as submitted by the Tax

Commissioner. An agenda report and resolution are attached.



II. TEMPORARY ACCESS EASEMENT FOR EAST WYNNTON DETENTION POND:



Authorization is requested to execute a Temporary Access Easement Agreement

from 8th Street running southerly approximately 1033.17 ft. with the Housing

Authority of Columbus, Georgia, to give adequate means of ingress and egress to

maintain the detention pond until January 2009. An agenda report, map and

resolution are attached.



III. STREET ACCEPTANCE ? CASSANDRA COURT, GILLIAM COURT, PORTION OF NATURE

TRAIL AND PORTION OF CEDARBROOK DRIVE:



Authorization is requested to accept a deed to Cassandra Court, Gilliam Court,

portion of Nature Trail and portion of Cedarbrook Drive located in Nature Trail

Crossing. The Department of Engineering has inspected these streets and

recommends the acceptance. An agenda report, map and resolution are attached.



IV. STREET ACCEPTANCE ? BOSTON IVY DRIVE, IVY PATCH COURT, PORTION OF IVY PATCH

DRIVE, PORTION OR IVY RIDGE DR AND PORTION OF BOSTON IVY LANE:



Authorization is requested to accept a deed to Boston Ivy Drive, Ivy Patch

Court, portion of Ivy Patch Drive, portion of Ivy Ridge Drive and that portion

of Boston Ivy Lane located in Section Seven, Phase Two, Ivy Park The Department

of Engineering has inspected these streets and recommends the acceptance. An

agenda report, map and resolution are attached.





There will be a pre-council briefing Tuesday at 8:15a.m. in the Council

Chambers regarding Insolvent Personal Property and Councilor Wayne Anthony is

requesting a post-council briefing regarding the Library Project.

Scope of RFP

The Columbus Consolidated Government (The City) requires the services of a

qualified provider to establish and maintain an Internet-Based Parking/Traffic

Citation Violation Payment Service.

1. 35? Low Floor Buses (RE-BID) (Annual Contract) RFB No. 07-0073

Scope of Bid

The Columbus Consolidated Government is seeking vendors to provide

approximately twelve (12) 35? Low Floor Buses to METRA on an ?as needed

basis?. The contract term shall be for one year, with the option to renew for

four (4) additional twelve-month periods. The renewal will be based solely

upon the mutual agreement of both parties, the Columbus Consolidated Government

and the Contractor.



2. HVAC Preventive Maintenance Services (Annual Contract) ? RFB No. 07-0079

Scope of Bid

Provide preventive maintenance and/or repair service for chillers at

various locations. The contract term shall be for three (3) years, with the

option to renew for two (2) additional twelve-month periods.

1. Maintenance Services for Security Surveillance System (Annual Contract) ?

RFP No. 07-0023

Scope of RFP

It is the intent of Columbus Consolidated Government to enter into a

contractual agreement with a qualified contractor offering maintenance services

for Security Surveillance System. Contract term shall be for two years, with

the option to renew for three (3) additional twelve-month periods. The

contract renewal will be contingent upon the mutual agreement of the City and

the Contractor.



2. Speed Advisory Trailer with Directional Ka-Band Radar on-Board Computer and

Speed Recording System ? RFP No. 07-0018

Scope of RFP

The Columbus Consolidated Government is requesting proposals to provide Speed

Trailers to be used by the Engineering Department. The department plans to

purchase 2 upon selection of a vendor, with the option to purchase additional

units (2 to 4), in FY08 July 1, 2007 ? June 30, 2008. The first speed trailers

purchased shall meet the requirements of the Sections 2.00 through 6.00. The

additional speed trailers may be identical to the first delivery or may require

additional capabilities as outlined in Section 7.00. The vendor shall hold the

price quoted for the Speed Trailers and the Alternate Trailer for 1 year

following the issuance of the contract.

The work shall consist of renovating the kitchen at Gallops Senior Center in

1. Construction Management Services for Repairs to the Historic Train Depot ?

RFP No. 07-0024

Scope of RFP

The Columbus Consolidated Government (hereafter known as Owner) is soliciting

competitive sealed proposals from qualified firms experienced in Construction



Management Services for building repairs. The building in need of repairs is

known as the Train Depot and is located at 1200 Six-Avenue. The



Depot will be repaired as closely as possible with the RFP?s narrative. The

Owner has allocated a project budget range of $400,000.00 to $500,000.00.

1. Right-of-Way Digital Imaging and Extraction of Pavement Condition Data ?

RFP No. 07-0006

Scope of RFP

Columbus Consolidated Government (CCG) is requesting proposals from qualified

firms, with proven experience, to collect ground-level right-of-way digital

images of the roadway network. The images shall be used to update the pavement

condition ratings stored in CCG?s proprietary pavement management system. Under

the terms of this RFP, the successful respondent is to work with CCG?s pavement

management consultant to deliver the pavement condition ratings in the required

data import format.
