NO.



WHEREAS, Joe Riddle, Director of Community Reinvestment for Columbus, will be

leaving to take a new job for the State of Arkansas;



WHEREAS, he received his Bachelor?s Degree in Accounting and Master?s in Public

Administration from Arkansas State University and he coached American football

in Kouvola, Finland for two years;



WHEREAS, he began work for the Columbus Consolidated Government in 1991 as a

Specialist in Community Development, served as a budget analyst and Senior

Budget Analyst from 1996 through 2004, as Assistant Director of Community

Reinvestment from 2004 through 2007 and was appointed to his current position

as Director of Community Reinvestment on February 17, 2007;



WHEREAS, Joe Riddle has served as an Advisor with the Youth Advisory Council

since its inception in 2001 and has been instrumental in advancing this program

to promote the interests of young people throughout our community;



WHEREAS, he has demonstrated an extraordinary commitment to promoting home

ownership in the community;



WHEREAS, Mr. Riddle, through his diligent efforts, has been instrumental in

reducing government costs and improving the quality of service to its

citizens;



WHEREAS, the accomplishments of Joe Riddle, Director of Community Reinvestment,

are worthy of special recognition by this Council.



NOW, THEREFORE, THE COUNCIL OF COLUMBUS, GEORGIA HEREBY RESOLVES:

We hereby commend and congratulate Joe Riddle, Director of Community

Reinvestment, upon his service to the consolidated government and the Columbus

community. Columbus is proud of his accomplishments and we wish him well as he

assumes his new duties in Arkansas. Let a copy of this resolution be forwarded

to Mr. Joe Riddle.

8th day of June, 2010, and adopted at said meeting by the affirmative vote of
