MINUTES # 29-09
The Columbus, Georgia, Board of Tax Assessors met Monday, August 10, 2009 at
9:00AM with Chairman William Braxton, Assessor Lawton Grantham, Assessor
Richard Stallings, Assessor Ann Grantham and Assessor Pat Hunter present. Also
present was Chief Appraiser Betty J. Middleton
Assessor Ann Grantham made the motion to approve Min#28-09; Assessor Richard
Stallings seconded the motion. Motion carried unanimously.
The Board signed assessment corrections for real estate.
The Board met with Residential Division Mgr Bob O?Brien to discuss pending
litigations.
The Board reviewed changes submitted by Delta Life Development Foundation Inc.
concerning their By-laws. The Board instructed to notify Delta Life Development
Foundation Inc.to resubmit the request when updates to the By-laws are made.
The Board reviewed and approved a letter for Veterans Application for the year
2009 (Parcel ID 087 001 012).
Met with Commercial Division Manager Linda King, reviewed and approved the

Pers Prop Div Mgr Oliver Juhan apprised the Board of a conversation he had with
the owner of account number 05767601 and the accountant of account number
X0700101.
