I. MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING - GEORGIA CLASSIC MAIN STREET PROGRAM:



Approval is requested to execute a Memorandum of Understanding with the

Georgia Department of Community Affairs to maintain Columbus' Local Main Street

designation by the National Main Street Center and appoint Uptown Columbus to

serve as the Local Main Street Program Board of Directors.







II. WORKERS' COMPENSATION ANNUITY AGREEMENT:



Approval is requested for funding of a Medicare Set Aside annuity in

the amount of $69,804.48 in the matter of Samuel Turner's Worker's Compensation

settlement previously presented to Council in executive session on January 31,

2017.







III. PUBLIC WORKS EQUIPMENT RODEO:



Approval is requested to accept donations in the anticipated amount of

$10,000 from various outside vendors to host the First Annual Public Works

Equipment Rodeo.







IV. 2017 GEORGIA ASSOCIATION OF EMS AND GEORGIA TRAUMA COMMISSION GRANT:



Approval is requested to apply for and accept, if awarded, a grant of

$8,825.75, or as otherwise awarded, from Georgia Association of EMS and Georgia

Trauma Commission, with no local match required, and amend the

Multi-Governmental Fund by the amount of the award.

V. RESURFACING AND RESTRIPING OF MARTIN LUTHER KING JR. BOULEVARD:



Approval is requested to resurface and restripe Martin Luther King Jr.

Boulevard, five lanes beginning at Buena Vista Road to Brown Avenue, and four

lanes beginning at Brown Avenue to 10th Avenue and authorize to proceed forward

with the proposed 12 foot wide multi-use trail as proposed by the PATH

Foundation Inc. and signal/intersection improvements with the funding

available.
