An ordinance amending Chapter 21 of the Columbus Code authorizing
maximum rates of hire for taxicab services in Columbus, Georgia, including a
fuel surcharge of $2.00 between the months of May through October; and for
other purposes.

THE COUNCIL OF COLUMBUS, GEORGIA HEREBY ORDAINS:
SECTION 1.
Section 21-9 of the Columbus Code is hereby amended by adding a new
subsection (i) to read as follows:
?(i) Notwithstanding any other provision of this Code section, a fuel surcharge
of $2.00 per trip may be added to the total fare between May 1 and October 31.
A notice to this effect shall be posted in each taxicab.?
SECTION 2.
All ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflict with this ordinance
are hereby repealed.
