A RESOLUTION
No.
WHEREAS, Officer Garry Wisham sustained extensive injuries in an accident on
February 10, 2009 involving a vehicle of the Muscogee County Sheriff?s
Department;
WHEREAS, Officer Wisham has settled all personal injury claims and
other claims by general release in favor of the Consolidated Government of
Columbus, Georgia;
WHEREAS, Officer Wisham has retired effective May 1, 2011 and this
Council desires to fix and approve his monthly pension benefit.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE COUNCIL OF COLUMBUS, GEORGIA HEREBY RESOLVES:
We hereby authorize the Director of Human Resources to implement a
monthly pension benefit in the amount of $3,291.03 for Officer Garry
Wisham, effective May 1, 2011. All terms of the General Release and Settlement
Agreement dated October 15, 2010 shall remain in full force and effect.

Introduced at a regular meeting of the Council of Columbus, Georgia held on the
26th day of July, 2011, and adopted at said meeting by the affirmative vote of
