THUNDER ON THE HOOCH:



Have the staff to prepare a resolution recognizing WTVM Channel 9 for its

efforts towards the Thunder on the Hooch celebration. (Request of Councilor

Anthony)

MEDICAL EXAMINER:



Have the staff to do some research and determine whether or not we can

have a regional medical examiner and maybe offer it to counties in Alabama.

TO THE CITY MANAGER:



NO CHAIN ORDINANCE FOR ANIMALS:



Have the staff to explore the possibility of how our current ordinance

addresses some of the concerns that were presented today and determine if they

will be beneficial to our community. Also, let?s talk about it further during a

Council Work Session, as well as to get the position of the Animal Control

Advisory Board on this recommendation. Also have the staff to call some of the

counties referenced in the presentation today and talk with them regarding this

subject. (Request of Councilor Davis)

ROAD WIDENING PROJECTS:



Have the staff to schedule a presentation of the road widening projects

and those roads that are proposed to be widen under the State contract, as well

as those that we want to do locally at a Council Work Session. (Request of

Mayor Pro Tem Turner Pugh)

BRADLEY PARK DRIVE:



Have the staff to follow-up with the Department of Transportation to

determine when they are planning on putting up that large traffic directional

sign between Bradley Park Drive and I-185 that was torn down during the Tornado

that we had here in Columbus. (Request of Councilor Davis)

AMBULANCE SERVICE:



Have the staff to schedule during one of the Council?s Work Session a

presentation to discuss our Ambulance Service contract and a problem that some

people have been experiencing in that their bills are not been covered by Blue

Cross/Blue Shield. (Request of Councilor Woodson)
