WHEREAS, Mrs. Sarah Helen Taylor, former employee with the Finance/Accounting
Department, died on April 25, 2010;
WHEREAS, Mrs. Taylor retired on January 1, 1984 after serving over 22 years
with the Finance/Accounting Department.
NOW, THEREFORE THE COUNCIL OF COLUMBUS, GEORGIA HEREBY RESOLVES:
We hereby convey to the family of Mrs. Taylor our sincere condolences and
deepest sympathy. Mrs. Taylor was an outstanding employee with the
Finance/Accounting Department and she will be missed by all who knew her.

WHEREAS, Mrs. Marie L. Sellers, former employee with the Tax Commissioner?s
Department, died on May 1, 2010;
WHEREAS, Mrs. Sellers retired on September 1, 1983 after serving over 31 years
with the Tax Commissioner?s Department.
NOW, THEREFORE THE COUNCIL OF COLUMBUS, GEORGIA HEREBY RESOLVES:
We hereby convey to the family of Mrs. Sellers our sincere condolences and
deepest sympathy. Mrs. Sellers was an outstanding employee with the Tax

Department, died on May 7, 2010;
WHEREAS, Mr. Johnson retired on June 1, 1988 after serving over 20 years with
the Columbus Police Department.
NOW, THEREFORE THE COUNCIL OF COLUMBUS, GEORGIA HEREBY RESOLVES:
We hereby convey to the family of Mr. Johnson our sincere condolences and
deepest sympathy. Mr. Johnson was an outstanding employee with the Tax
