WHEREAS, Mr. Eddie J. Griffin, former employee with METRA/Transportation

died on January 13, 2011;

WHEREAS, Mr. Love retired after serving over 6 years with the

METRA/Transportation.

NOW, THEREFORE THE COUNCIL OF COLUMBUS, GEORGIA HEREBY RESOLVES:

We hereby convey to the family of Mr. Griffin our sincere condolences and

deepest sympathy. Mr. Griffin was an outstanding employee with the

METRA/Transportation and he will be missed by all who knew him.

WHEREAS, Mr. Bernard T. Love, former employee with the Columbus FIRE/EMS

Department died on December 18, 2010;

WHEREAS, Mr. Love retired on February 1, 1998 after serving 32 years with the

Columbus FIRE/EMS Department.

NOW, THEREFORE THE COUNCIL OF COLUMBUS, GEORGIA HEREBY RESOLVES:

We hereby convey to the family of Mr. Love our sincere condolences and deepest

sympathy. Mr. Love was an outstanding employee with the Columbus FIRE/EMS

Department and he will be missed by all who knew him.

Department died on December 20, 2010;

WHEREAS, Mr. Marshall retired on July 1, 2006 after serving 33 years with the

Public Services Department.
