An Ordinance amending the Zoning Atlas of the Consolidated Government of
Columbus, Georgia; this amendment changes certain boundaries of a district
located at 2044, 2046, 2048, & 2050 Mason Street; 502, 504, & 514 20th Avenue;
and 2037, 2039, & 2043 Cusseta Road from RMF2 (Residential Multi-Family 2)
Zoning District to RMF1 (Residential Multi-Family 1) Zoning District.
THE COUNCIL OF COLUMBUS, GEORGIA, HEREBY ORDAINS:
That the Zoning Atlas on file with the Planning Department be, and the same is
hereby amended by changing the aforementioned property of the following
described property from RMF2 (Residential Multi-Family 2) Zoning District to
RMF1 (Residential Multi-Family 1) Zoning District:
All that tract or parcel of land lying in and being part of Land Lot 69, Coweta
Reserve, Columbus, Muscogee County, Georgia being part of Block ?A?, Resurvey
of EASTVIEW and more particularly described as follows: BEGIN at an iron stake
marking the intersection of the easterly of 20th Avenue and the southerly line
of Mason Street; thence South 75 degrees 51 minutes 21 seconds East, along the
southerly line of Mason Street, 98.68 feet to an iron stake; thence continuing
along the southerly line of Mason Street along the arc of a clockwise curve
(said arc having a radius of 452.40 feet and being subtended by a 184.51 foot
chord bearing South 64 degrees 51 minutes 45 seconds East), 185.81 feet to
an iron stake; thence leaving said street South 31 degrees 35 minutes 24
seconds West, 130.46 feet to an iron stake; thence South 37 degrees 48
minutes 43 seconds East, 23.71 feet to an iron stake; thence South 55
degrees 12 minutes 41 seconds West, 139.34 feet to an iron stake on the
northeasterly line of Cusseta Road; thence North 34 degrees 47 minutes 12
seconds West, along the northeasterly line of Cusseta Road, 206.0 feet to a
rebar and cap at the intersection of the easterly line of 20th Avenue; thence
North 09 degrees 10 minutes 22 seconds East, along the easterly line of 20th
Avenue, 144.52 feet to an iron stake at the intersection of the southerly line
of Mason Street and the point of beginning; containing 1.221 acres and shown
on a plat titled ?Survey of Part of Block ?A?, Resurvey of EASTVIEW? prepared
by MOON, MEEKS, MASON & VINSON, INC., dated 22 July 2011.
The above-described property is being rezoned subject to the following
conditions:
1. A dual shared driveway with private property turnarounds on each lot shall
be required for Lots 30 and 31 of the attached site plan.
2. A private property turnaround shall be required for Lot 32 of the attached
site plan.
The aforementioned site plan shall be attached to this ordinance for
reference.

25th day of October, 2011; introduced a second time at a regular meeting of
said Council held on the day of , 2011 and adopted at said
meeting by the affirmative vote of members of said Council.
