An Ordinance amending the Zoning Atlas of the Consolidated Government

of Columbus, Georgia; this amendment changes certain boundaries of a district

located at 2234 Elm Drive from NC (Neighborhood Commercial) District to GC

(General Commercial) District.



THE COUNCIL OF COLUMBUS, GEORGIA, HEREBY ORDAINS:



That the Zoning Atlas on file with the Planning Division of the

Department of Community and Economic Development be, and the same is hereby

amended by changing the following described property from NC (Neighborhood

Commercial) District to GC (General Commercial) District:



All that lot, tract or parcel of land situate, lying and being in Columbus,

Muscogee County, Georgia, and being known as parts of Lots 7 and 8, Block ?BB?,

Replat of Revised Plat of Part of Block ?B?, Edgewood, lying in Land Lot 11,

8th District of Columbus, Muscogee County, Georgia; this parcel is more

particularly described as follows:



Beginning at an iron pin located on the northeasterly line of Elm Drive, a

distance of 300.00 feet, as measured along the northeasterly line of Elm Drive,

from the intersection of the northeasterly line of Elm Drive with the

northwesterly line of Taylor Drive; and from said beginning point thence run in

a northwesterly direction along the northeasterly line of Elm Drive, for a

distance of 15.14 feet to an iron pin located on the easterly line of Elm

Drive; thence run North 28 degrees 29 minutes 02 seconds West, for a distance

of 109.43 feet to an iron pin located on the easterly line of Elm Drive; thence

run North 60 degrees 03 minutes 54 seconds East for a distance of 150.81 feet

to an iron pin located on the northeastern line of said part of Lot 8; thence

run South 42 degrees 36 minutes 51 seconds East along the northeastern lines of

said parts of Lots 8 and 7, for a distance of 87.76 feet to an iron pin located

on the northeastern line of said Lot 7; thence run South 47 degrees 15 minutes

50 seconds West for a distance of 174.61 feet to an iron pin located on the

northeastern line of Elm Drive, which iron pin is the beginning point.



The above-described property is being rezoned with the following condition:



1. If the property ceases to be used for plumbing supply and contractor

purposes, the Planning Division shall rezone the property to NC (Neighborhood

Commercial).

held on the 8th day of August, 2006; introduced a second time at a regular

meeting of said Council held on the day of ____ , 2006

and adopted at said meeting by the affirmative vote of members of

said Council.
