O R D I N A N C E S:
(1) 2nd Reading - Property located at 4531 Milgen Road, is proposed for
rezoning from GC (General Commercial) to RO (Residential Office) zoning
district. (3-CA-12-Pate) (Councilor McDaniel) The proposed use is for
apartments and offices. The Planning Advisory Commission recommends approval
and the Planning Department recommends conditional approval. (Approved)
(2) 2nd Reading - Property located at the South Corner of 7300 Blackmon Road,
is proposed for rezoning from RE1 (Residential Estate 1) zoning district to GC
(General Commercial) zoning district. (2-CA-12-Allen Development Group, Inc.)
(Councilor McDaniel) The proposed use is for a college campus. The Planning
Advisory Commission recommends approval and the Planning Department recommends
conditional approval. (Approved)
(3) 1st Reading - Property located at 5445 and 5447 Forrest Road, is
proposed for rezoning from NC (Neighborhood Commercial) to GC (General
Commercial) zoning district. (4-CA-12-Foresite Group Inc./Mize, Jr.) (Councilor
Henderson) The proposed use is for a CVS Pharmacy. The Planning Advisory
Commission and the Planning Department recommend conditional approval.
(4) 1st Reading - An Ordinance amending Ordinance No. 04-38 so as to provide
that a Deputy Warden of the Muscogee County Prison shall be appointed in
accordance with state law; and for other purposes. (Councilor Barnes and
Councilor Thomas)
R E S O L U T I O N S:
(5) Authorizing a transition audit of the Columbus Iron Works Convention
and Trade Center by the Internal Auditor. (Request of Mayor Tomlinson)

(6) Authorizing issuance of Columbus, Georgia Water and Sewage
Refunding Revenue Bonds, Series 2012A Bonds and Series 2012B Bonds.
