I. GEORGIA DEPARTMENT OF EARLY CHILDCARE AND LEARNING GRANT - BRIGHT FROM THE

START:



Authorization is requested to submit an application and, if approved, accept a

$140,000 grant or the approved amount from the Georgia Department of Early

Childcare and Learning Bright From the Start Program to continue the Child and

Adult Care Food Program and amend the Multi-Government Grant Fund by the amount

II. UNUSED SICK LEAVE PAYMENT:



Authorization is requested of payment to employees for unused sick leave in

accordance with 16B-15-6(2) of the Columbus Code of Ordinances. An agenda

III. MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING - PROPERTY EXCHANGE WITH MUSCOGEE COUNTY

SCHOOL DISTRICT:



Authorization is requested to execute a Memorandum of Understanding

with the Muscogee County School District for exchange of property for road

improvements at the Buena Vista Road railroad crossing, to acquire additional

right-of way for road realignments at Buena Vista Road railroad crossing,

streetscapes, and muti-purpose recreational trails in the immediate area as

well as for other future development purposes and the Muscogee County School

District has a need for land in South Columbus for future educational

purchases. This exchange will reduce the right-of-way cost for the Buena Road

III. 2015 PROPOSED LEGISLATIVE AGENDA ITEMS:



Authorization is requested for the approval of 14 resolutions for the

2015 Legislative Session of the Georgia General Assembly. An agenda report and

IV. VOCA - CRIME VICTIM ASSISTANCE GRANT:



Authorization is requested to submit an application and, if approved,

accept $21,149 from the Georgia Criminal Justice Coordinating Council with a

$5,287 (5%) match from the Crime Victim Surcharge Fund for the Solicitor

General's Victim Assistance Program and to amend the Multi-Governmental Fund

to reflect these revenues and expenses. An agenda report and resolution are

V. CONDEMNATION - PARCEL 8 FT. BENNING ROAD, CUSSETA ROAD/BRENNAN ROAD:



Authorization is requested for acquisition of Parcel 8, 3729 Cusseta

Road for construction of Ft. Benning Road, Cusseta Road and Brennan Road Round

a Bout and authorizing the filing of a Declaration of Taking by the City

Attorney or his representatives for the acquisition of said land under

authority of the Official Code of Georgia. An agenda report, maps and

1. Redevelopment Plan for Claflin School ? RFP No. 14-0002

Scope of RFP

The City of Columbus is requesting proposals from experienced, creative

architects, building and real estate development firms OR a philanthropic

individual or nonprofit group to present a redevelopment plan for adaptive

reuse of the Claflin School building that will be consistent with applicable

deed restrictions and preserve the historic site.

1. 457 Deferred Compensation Plan (Annual Contract) ? RFP No. 15-0004

Scope of RFP

Provide proposal for 457 deferred compensation plan for Columbus

Consolidated Government. Contract term shall be for two years, with the option

to renew for three (3) additional twelve-month periods. Contract renewal shall

be contingent upon the mutual agreement of the City and the Contractor.

1. Automatic Announcement System (Annual Contract) ? RFB No. 15-0014

Scope of RFB

Provide and install automatic announcement system for METRA Transit System

buses. Contract term shall be for two years, with the option to renew for

three (3) additional twelve-month periods. Contract renewal shall be
