Ray Massey, Tom Barron (ex-officio).

CALL TO ORDER AND ATTENDANCE REPORT:
Chair Mary Stranger called the meeting to order and took the attendance for the
meeting.
MINUTES OF THE PREVIOUS MEETING:
Minutes from the September 14, 2011 meeting were accepted by unanimous vote of
the committee.
AGENDA AND DISCUSSION:
Old Business
The Committee set the next 2012 meetings for 10AM at Gallops for the following
dates:
February 15, 2012
May 16, 2012
September 19, 2012
November 21, 2012
New Business
Committee discussed health insurance renewal process for 1/1/2012 and Council
approval by resolution. Committee was pleased with outcome.
A discussion of the retiree open enrollment process followed noting that most
retirees will not make any changes and that those that do are most comfortable
working through the CCG Human Resources Department.
At lease twice per year the Committee wants to receive an aggregate report from
Northwestern on the concerns that retirees are reporting to the Northwestern
advocates.
Mr. Massey reported that his contacts with the advocates have been positive
regarding health care expenses and maximum out-of-pocket records.
The Committee wants to invite Northwestern to the February meeting to discuss
open enrollment and provide an update on health reform.
The Committee wants to make Council aware of what we are sending to retirees.
There being no further business the meeting was adjourned.
