Authorization is requested for the adoption of an Anti-Idling policy to govern

the City's fleet of heavy duty vehicles to prohibit employees from idling City

vehicles for over five minutes except in traffic, or unless such idling is

needed to perform a necessary work function or to respond to an emergency. A

1. Plant Interior Design and Maintenance for the Columbus Civic Center (Annual

Contract) ? RFP No. 08-0014

Scope of RFP

The Columbus Consolidated Government (The City) requires the services of a

qualified contractor to provide and maintain plants at the Columbus Civic

Center.



November 14, 2007

1. Hydraulic Trash Loaders ? RFB No. 08-0026

Scope of RFB

Provide two (2) hydraulic trash loaders to be used by the Integrated Waste

Division of the Public Services Department. The Peterson ?Lightning Loader?

and the Holmac Pac-Mac? models are currently in the City?s Fleet. Mechanics

and operators are trained and familiar with these models. Therefore, these

models are preferred.

1. Debt Collection Services (Annual Contract) ? RFP No. 08-0011

Scope of RFP

Provide Debt Collection Services on an ?as needed basis? for, but not limited

to, Landfill Collections, Parking, False Alarms, Ambulance, Demolition Liens,

etc. The contract term shall be for two years, with the option to renew for

three (3) additional twelve-month periods.
