I. NAMING OF NATATORIUM:



Authorization is requested to name the Columbus Natatorium the

"Columbus Aquatic Center". The cost of signage will come from project funds

associated with the City Services Center project. An agenda report and

II. TSPLOST CRITERIA FOR DISCRETIONARY PROJECTS:



Authorization is requested of the attached TSPLOST Criteria for

discretionary projects. A resolution is attached. Click link to access

III. PROPERTY ACQUISITION - 3601 GIDDEN ROAD:



Authorization is requested to purchase 16+/- acres of property on

Gidden Road for relocation of Fire Station #9 and a training center to be

constructed some time in the future. An agenda report, map and resolution are

IV. (TSPLOST) - TRANSPORTATION INVESTMENT ACT OF 2010 (TIA) PROJECT

AGREEMENT - SOUTH LUMPKIN MULTI-USE FACILITY:



Authorization is requested to enter into a contractual agreement with

the Georgia Department of Transportation to receive $3.5 million in

Transportation Special Purpose Local Option Sales Tax Funds for activities for

South Lumpkin Multi-Use Facility. This project will be 100% funded from

collection of TSPLOST funds and will not require a match. An agenda report,

V. PROPERTY ACCEPTANCE FROM NORFOLK SOUTHERN FOR A MEMORIAL CEMETERY:



Authorization is requested to accept a Quit Claim Deed from Norfolk

Southern for property located along the 600 block of 6th Avenue. Norfolk

Southern is donating land to the City to create a Memorial Garden to

commemorate the significance of the site. The property is located along the

600 block of 6th Avenue should be recognized as one of two of the original "Old

Colored Cemetery" in Columbus. An agenda report, resolution and map are

VI. QUIT CLAIM DEED - IVY AVENUE:



Authorization is requested to execute a Quit Claim Deed for an

unimproved segment to Ivy Avenue to Ms. Suzanne H. Corley, 1057-1059 Talbotton

Road. The Georgia Department of Transportation is in the process of acquiring

property on Talbotton/Warm Springs Road for a widening project that will impact

this business. This property is needed to provide a driveway to the back of

the business making it accessible for parking. This property was declared

surplus on March 26, 2013 Ord # 13-15. An agenda report and resolution are

The Columbus Consolidated Government wishes to purchase eight thousand (8000)

96-gallon universal containers for the City?s recycling program.

13-0029

Scope of RFP

The Columbus Planning Department and the METRA Transit System are seeking a

qualified consultant to undertake a public transit needs assessment in Muscogee

County, Georgia.



2. Inmate Commissary Services for Muscogee County Prison (Annual Contract) ?

RFP No. 13-0028

Scope of RFP

The Consolidated Government of Columbus, Georgia is seeking proposals from

qualified vendors to provide inmate commissary services at the Muscogee County

Prison.



3. Comprehensive Medical Services/Muscogee County Jail & Prison (Annual

Contract) ? RFP No. 13-0024

Scope of RFP

Provide comprehensive medical services for inmates at the Muscogee County Jail

and Muscogee County Prison, in accordance with the RFP specifications.

Contract term shall be for two years, with an option to renew for three (3)

additional twelve month periods.

1. Natatorium Furniture ? RFB No. 13-0054

Scope of RFB

Provide and install furniture and accessory items in the newly constructed

Columbus Natatorium, which is located at 1358 Rigdon Road in Columbus, GA.

Approved manufacturers are Belson, First Office, Global, and Legacy.



The products listed within this RFB are specified to meet the durability and

environment of a natatorium; therefore, the Owner will not consider alternates.

Scope of RFB

The Columbus Consolidated Government wishes to purchase five (5) ?-ton super/

extended cab, 4-door, 4x2 pickup trucks. Four (4) trucks will be used by

supervisors of the Integrated Waste Division, of the Public Works Department,

to inspect and manage crews. One (1) truck is a replacement vehicle for Park

Services.
