EMERGENCY WARNING SIREN:



Have the staff to get together with the local television stations to see

about coming up with a synchronized approach to alerting the citizens regarding

dangerous weather. (Request of Mayor Poydasheff)

GARBAGE DUMPSTERS:



Have the staff to consider requiring stickers on the garbage dumpsters

with contact information about the owners or individual that is responsible for

maintaining the dumpster. (Request of Councilor McDaniel) Let?s make sure

that the City Attorney is involved with this process regarding the person that

the City can legally contact about the garbage dumpsters. (Request of

Councilor Turner Pugh)





Have the staff contact or survey other cities and make a comparison to

find out what they are doing in regards to screening garbage dumpsters.

VEHICLE REPAIR SHOPS:



Have the staff revisit the ordinance dealing with vehicle repair shops,

junkyards and businesses of that nature, because those businesses are required

to have some screening so that the vehicles cannot be seen. Also, let?s make

sure that the businesses are in compliance with the laws on the books regarding

screening. (Request of Councilor Turner Pugh) Let?s add the auto parts stores

to that list of businesses that needs to be looked at for compliance. (Request

of Councilor Woodson)

INDIVIDUAL LOT DRAINAGE:



Have the staff to provide a list of the questions that were submitted to

the Executive Director for the Georgia State Board of Licensing for Contractors

and the proposed guidelines, as well as, the responses that were provided

regarding individual lot drainage. (Request of Councilor Turner Pugh)



Have the staff set up a meeting with the City Manager, Engineering

Department, Mr. Philip Thayer and some of the builders, as well as, some of the

residents of Moye Estates so that we can have some discussion. (Request of

Councilor Turner Pugh)



Let?s have the staff set up a work session on the lot drainage process

that covers it from the beginning to the end, in particular: proper piping of

creeks, streams and water ways to include ground swells and the detention pond

process. (Request of Councilor Allen)



Let?s provide a copy of the Performance Standard Guidelines to each member

of Council. (Mayor Poydasheff)

Have the staff to run the information regarding the new area code on the

CCG-TV. (Request of Mayor Pro Tem Rodgers)
