Have the staff to draft a resolution asking our Congressional Delegation

to consider a National holiday for Caesar Chavez. (Request of Councilor

Woodson)

ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGE CODE:



Have the staff to consider looking at the alcoholic beverage code in a

Work Session and let?s talk about whether or not we ought to put in some type

of restriction if a church goes into an area. (Request of Councilor Henderson)

COMPREHENSIVE PLAN:



Have the staff to make sure that we have copies of the Comprehensive Plan

available and place in the libraries. (Request of Mayor Pro Tem Turner Pugh)

MAYOR?S INTERNATIONAL FESTIVAL:



In the future, when the Mayor?s International Festival is held, let?s make

sure we show this program on CCG-TV. (Request of Councilor Woodson)

UPTOWN COLUMBUS BOARD MEMBERS:



Have the staff to provide the members of Council with a list of the

current members of the Uptown Columbus Board, as well as a list of those

members after the first of the year. (Request of Councilor Anthony)

ATHLETIC PROGRAM FEES:



Have the staff to provide information with respect to the significant

increase of $17,000 in the Athletic Program fees. (Request of Councilor Davis)

NEW SALES TAX RATE:



Have the staff to add a link to the Georgia Department of Revenue?s

website to the city?s website in order for citizens to have easy access to the

notification of the change to the city?s current sales tax rate. (Request of

Councilor Woodson)
