A RESOLUTION APPROVING A SPECIAL EXCEPTION USE TO PERMIT A PLACE OF WORSHIP ON
PROPERTY LESS THAN 2 ACRES LOCATED AT 3615, 3619, AND 3623 GENTIAN BOULEVARD.
WHEREAS, Columbus Korean Methodist Church has appropriately applied for a
Special Exception Use to permit a Place of Worship on property less than 2
acres, on the property described above;
WHEREAS, a Place of Worship on property less than 2 acres, is permitted solely
as a Special Exception Use under the current NC (Neighborhood Commercial)
zoning district;
WHEREAS, the Planning Department has reviewed the request and recommends
approval.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE COUNCIL OF COLUMBUS, GEORGIA, HEREBY RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:
That all the criteria of Section 10.2.7.B have been met and that a
Special Exception Use for a Place of Worship on property less than 2 acres, be
granted for the property at of 3615, 3619, and 3623 Gentian Boulevard.

12th day of July, 2011, and adopted at said meeting by the affirmative vote of
members of said Council.
