A RESOLUTION
No.
WHEREAS, Travis Oestmann, golfer for Northside High School finished as
Co-Medalist at the GHSA Class AAA Golf Championship played at Maple Ridge Golf
Club in Columbus;
WHEREAS, Travis shot a blistering 66 to tie Jonathan Klotz of Columbus High
School for Medalist honors;
WHEREAS, Northside appeared in only its second state championship, making its
first appearance last season;
WHEREAS, other Northside players included Chris Campos (71), Jeffrey Cook (78),
and Grady Flowers (81);
WHEREAS, the accomplishments of Northside Patriots Golf Team are worthy of
special recognition by this Council.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE COUNCIL OF COLUMBUS, GEORGIA HEREBY RESOLVES:
We hereby commend and congratulate Northside Patriots? Co-Medalist Travis
Oestmann (66), Chris Campos (71), Jeffrey Cook (78), and Grady Flowers (81)
upon their strong finish in the GHSA
Class AAA Golf Championship played at Maple Ridge. Columbus is proud of their
accomplishments and we wish them every success in the future. Let a copy of
this resolution be forwarded to the above-named participants.
