O R D I N A N C E S:





(1) 2nd Reading ? REZN-03-16-0460 ? Property located at 4429 3rd Avenue (parcel

010-007-003) is proposed for rezoning from RMF1 (Residential Multi-family 1)

zoning district to GC (General Commercial) zoning district. (Owner: Arthur Lee

Brittingham, Jr., Anthony Campbell & Roy Kelmon Culpepper) (District 8

Councilor Buck) The proposed use is convenience store, with gas sales. The

Planning Advisory Commission and the Planning Department recommend approval.



(2) 2nd Reading ? REZN-02-16-0380 ? Properties located at 4651 & 4647 Milgen

Road (parcels 083-044-002 & 083-044-001A) is proposed for rezoning from LMI

(Light Manufacturing & Industrial) zoning district to GC (General Commercial)

zoning district. (Owner: Robert T. Flournoy) (District 5 Councilor Baker) The

proposed use is retail shopping center. The Planning Advisory Commission

recommends approval and the Planning Department recommends conditional

approval.





R E S O L U T I O N S:



(3) A Resolution declaring a segment of 30th Street between the east

right-of-way of 1st Avenue and west right-of-way of 2nd Avenue as surplus.

(4) A Resolution from the Columbus Council and the Columbus Convention and

Visitors Board (CVB), urging the Department of Defense to keep government per

diem rates at current levels without any further reduction. (Mayor Pro-Tem

Pugh)



(5) A Resolution expressing our deep appreciation to Councilor Thomas B.

Buck, III for his dedicated and distinguished service to the Council of

Columbus, Georgia. (Councilor Thomas)



(6) A Resolution congratulating the Brookstone Lady Cougars Tennis Team

upon recently winning their eleventh Class A State Championship in Jonesboro,

Georgia. (Councilor Henderson)



(7) A Resolution congratulating the Columbus High School Lady Blue

Devils Tennis Team upon recently winning their first Class 5A State

Championship in Jonesboro, Georgia. (Councilor Henderson)
