AN ORDINANCE

An Ordinance amending the Zoning Atlas of the Consolidated Government of
Columbus, Georgia; this amendment changes certain boundaries of a district
located at 8385 Heiferhorn Way from SFR2 (Single Family Residential 2)/ NC
(Neighborhood Commercial) District to NC (Neighborhood Commercial) District.
THE COUNCIL OF COLUMBUS, GEORGIA, HEREBY ORDAINS:
That the Zoning Atlas on file with the Planning Department be, and the same is
hereby amended by changing 1.15 acres of the following described property from
SFR2 (Single Family Residential 2)/ NC (Neighborhood Commercial) District to NC
(Neighborhood Commercial) District:
All that tract or parcel of land lying in and being part of Land Lot 273, 19th
District, Columbus, Muscogee County, Georgia and being more particularly
described as follows:
Commence at a concrete monument at the northwesterly end of a miter which forms
the intersection of the northerly line of Williams Road and the easterly line
of Whitesville Road; thence North 42 degrees 20 minutes 31 seconds West, 185.27
feet across Whitesville Road to an iron stake on the westerly side of
Whitesville Road; thence northerly along the said westerly side of Whitesville
Road, 270.66 feet to an iron stake and the POINT OF BEGINNING; thence leaving
Whitesville Road, South 77 degrees 50 minutes 50 seconds West, 315.93 feet to
an iron stake; thence North 34 degrees 43 minutes 31 seconds East, 147.09 feet
to an iron stake; thence North 22 degrees 26 minutes 01 second East, 275.71
feet to an iron stake on the westerly side of Whitesville Road; thence
southeasterly along the southwesterly line of Whitesville Road along the arc of
a clockwise curve (said curve has a radius of 1232.27 feet and is subtended by
a 75.06 foot chord bearing South 33 degrees 45 minutes 34 seconds East) 75.07
feet to an iron stake; thence South 17 degrees 37 minutes 29 seconds East,
along the westerly line of Whitesville Road, 258.80 feet to an iron stake at
the point of beginning;
containing 1.15 acres.
The above-described properties are being rezoned with the following conditions:
1. There shall be no boarding of animals on the property.

Introduced at a regular meeting of the Council of Columbus, Georgia held on the
8th day of December, 2009; introduced a second time at a regular meeting of
said Council held on the ______ day of ___________ 2009 and adopted at said
meeting by the affirmative vote of ________ members of said Council.
