O R D I N A N C E S:
(1) 1st Reading - REZN-12-18-2203: An ordinance rezoning property located at
3707 2nd Avenue. The current zoning is GC (General Commercial) zoning
district. The proposed zoning is RO (Residential Office). The proposed use is
Warehousing / Residential Apartments / Office zoning district. The Planning
Advisory Commission and the Planning Department recommend conditional approval.
The applicant is Justin Krieg. (Councilor Garrett)
(2) 1st Reading - REZN-12-18-2247: An ordinance rezoning property at 1429
Morris Road. The current zoning is SFR2 (Single Family Residential 2). The
proposed zoning is GC (General Commercial). The proposed use is Business /
Retail. The Planning Advisory Commission and the Planning Department recommend
approval. The applicant is Martin Flournoy. (Councilor Barnes)
(3) 1st Reading - REZN-12-18-2248: An ordinance to amend Table 3.1.1. of the
Unified Development Ordinance (UDO) to allow for Club or Lodge, Not for Profit,
in all residential zones as a Special Exception Use. The Planning Advisory
Commission and the Planning Department recommend approval. (Mayor Pro-Tem Pugh)
(4) 1st Reading - REZN-01-19-0007: An ordinance to amend Table 3.1.1. of the
Unified Development Ordinance (UDO) to allow Health and Fitness Facilities into
the Historic District as a Special Exception Use. The Planning Advisory
Commission recommends denial, and the Planning Department recommends approval.

(5) 1st Reading - An ordinance amending the budgets for the Fiscal Year 2019
beginning July 1, 2018 and ending June 30, 2019, for certain funds of the
Consolidated Government of Columbus, Georgia, appropriating amounts shown in
each fund for various activities; and for other purposes. (Budget Review
Committee)
(6) 1st Reading - An ordinance to re-class Assistant Chief Deputy Clerk,
Position # 0404, from pay grade 18A to pay grade 18H. (Requested by the Clerk
of Superior Court)
(7) 1st Reading - An ordinance amending Section 4-32 of the Columbus Code to
provide that the Columbus Recreation Advisory Board will meet bimonthly instead
of monthly; and for other purposes. (Councilor House)
(8) 1st Reading - An ordinance amending the Procurement Ordinance for METRA;
and for other purposes. (Mayor Pro-Tem Pugh)
R E S O L U T I O N S:
(9) A resolution reappointing Michael Joyner as Recorder Pro-Tem for the
Recorder's Court of Columbus, Georgia for an additional four-year term.

(10) A resolution requesting assistance from the local legislative delegation
to the Georgia General Assembly concerning child residential treatment
programs, personal care homes and foster homes. (Councilor Davis)
(11) Add-On Resolution: A resolution authorizing the Board of Tax Assessors to
hire a Chief Appraiser; and for other purposes. (Requested by the Board of Tax
Assessors)
