A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING A TEMPORARY suspension OF CONDITION NUMBER 8
OF ORDINANCE 99-15 TO ALLOW DEVELOPMENT TO PROCEED, SUBJECT TO NEW REZONING,
FOR A PROPOSED APARTMENT DEVELOPMENT AT 2475 WILLIAMS ROAD.
WHEREAS, St. Francis Hospital rezoned property at 2425 and 2475
Williams Road in 1999 from A-1 (Agricultural) to C-3 (General Commercial) and
A-O (Apartment-Office) to develop a proposed medical campus; and,
WHEREAS, said medical campus site plan proposed a 150-bed hospital, retail,
hotel, adult day care, nursing home, assisted living facility, and medical
offices; and,
WHEREAS, Condition No. 8 of Ordinance No. 99-15 states, ?The use of the
property is limited to those uses shown on the site plan (See site plan filed
with this or ordinance); and,
WHEREAS, instead of hospital use, apartment use is now planned with a
new owner and the Planning Department recommends that said Condition No. 8 be
temporarily suspended for a period not to exceed 120 days;
WHEREAS, new owner and developer shall apply for rezoning to remove
said Condition No. 8 from Ordinance No. 99-15 within said time period.

NOW, THEREFORE, THE COUNCIL OF COLUMBUS, GEORGIA, HEREBY RESOLVES:
That Condition No. 8 of Ordinance 99-15 is hereby suspended for a period not to
exceed 120 days. The new owner and developer shall apply for rezoning to remove
said Condition No. 8 from Ordinance No. 99-15 within said time period.

26th day of October, 2010, and adopted at said meeting by the affirmative vote
of members of said Council.
