An Ordinance amending the Zoning Atlas of the Consolidated Government
of Columbus, Georgia; this amendment changes certain boundaries of a district
located at 4026 Macon Road from SFR2 (Single Family Residential 2) District to
NC (Neighborhood Commercial) District.
THE COUNCIL OF COLUMBUS, GEORGIA, HEREBY ORDAINS:
That the Zoning Atlas on file with the Planning Department be, and the
same is hereby amended by changing the following described property from SFR2
(Single Family Residential 2) District to NC (Neighborhood Commercial) District:
All that tract or parcel of land situate, lying and being in the State of
Georgia, County of Muscogee and City of Columbus, and being known and
distinguished as ALL OF LOT ONE HUNDRED (l00), REPLAT OF LOTS 7 & 13, BLOCK
"E", EDGEWOOD SUBDIVISION, and being more particularly described as follows,
to-wit:
BEGINNING at an iron located on the southerly line of Macon Road 728.30 feet
south 82 degrees 32 minutes west from the intersection of the southerly line of
Macon Road and the westerly line of Edgewood Circle, and from said beginning
point running thence south 07 degrees 31 minutes 20 seconds east 404.36 feet to
an iron; thence south 60 degrees 07 minutes 25 seconds west 109.64 feet to an
iron; thence south 81 degrees 45 minutes west 207.60 feet to an iron; thence
north 07 degrees 22 minutes west 439.59 feet to an iron located on the
southerly line of Macon Road; thence running north 82 degrees 32 minutes east
208 feet along a curve having a radius of 2834.93 feet to an iron; thence north
82 degrees 32 minutes east 100 feet to an iron which marks the point of
beginning of the property herein conveyed.
Said property is shown on a map or plat entitled "Replat of Lots 7 & 13, Block
"E", Edgewood Subdivision, Lying in Land Lots 11, 12 & 29, 8th District,
Columbus, Muscogee County, Georgia", dated November 16, 1988, made by Moon,
Meeks & Patrick, Inc., Civil Engineers, and recorded in Plat Book 108, Folio
55, in the Office of the Clerk of the Superior Court of Muscogee County,
Georgia.
The above-described property is being rezoned with the following condition:
The 5,000 square feet use restriction shall be waived for this property.

Introduced at a regular meeting of the Council of Columbus, Georgia held on
the 9th day of September, 2008; introduced a second time at a regular meeting
of said Council held on the day of __ , 2008 and
adopted at said meeting by the affirmative vote of members of said
Council.
