AN ORDINANCE

NO. ___________



AN ORDINANCE REGULATING VEHICULAR TRAFFIC IN COLUMBUS, GEORGIA BY

REPEALING A NO PARKING ANYTIME ORDINANCE NO. 07-63; ENACTING ONE NEW NO PARKING

ANYTIME ZONE ALONG PHILLIPS STREET AND TWO NEW NO PARKING ANYTIME ZONES ALONG

COMMERCE STREET; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.



Section I.



That the No Parking Anytime zones of Ordinance #07-63 is hereby

repealed in its entirety.



Section II.



That it shall be unlawful to park or rank a vehicle at any time along

the following street segment:



Phillips Street: On the east curb beginning at Levy Road running

southerly a distance of 660 feet.



Section III.



That it shall be unlawful to park or rank a vehicle at any time along

the following street segments:



Commerce Street: Beginning at a point 231 feet south of the south curb

of Levy Street and running south along the west curb a distance of 60 feet.



Commerce Street: Beginning at a point 386 feet south of the south curb

of Levy Street and running south along the west curb a distance of 190 feet.



Commerce Street: Beginning at a point 120 feet south of the south curb of Levy

Street and running south along the east curb to a distance of 236 feet.



Section IV.



That official Traffic Control signs shall be installed indicating the No

Parking Anytime zone described here within Sections II and III.



Section V.



That all ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflict with this

ordinance are hereby repealed.

13th day of July , 2010; introduced a second time at a regular meeting of said

Council held on the day of _ , 2010 and adopted at said meeting

by the affirmative vote of members of said Council.
