I. 2009 EDWARD BYRNE MEMORIAL JUSTICE ASSISTANCE GRANT:



Authorization is requested to submit an application and if approved accept a

$162,633 grant from the Edward Byrne Memorial Justice Assistance Program for

the Federal Fiscal Year 2009 to be used by eligible departments. An agenda

II. QUIT CLAIM DEED - 2300 PARKWAY, LLC:



Authorization is requested to execute a quit claim deed to 2300 Parkway, LLC

for 0.084 acres of property running along the west property line of Tract VII,

Brookstone Centre Parkway to 2300 Parkway LLC. providing that all existing

utility easements of record remain in effect and providing easements of

appropriate width as required by the applicable utility companies will be

reserved for unknown utilities. An agenda report and resolution are attached.

Director of Human Resources Tom Barron will provide an update on the

Prescription Drug Card referral from Council.





VI. PRESENTATION - COOPER CREEK TENNIS CENTER:



Deputy City Manager Lisa Goodwin will provide a briefing on a proposal from

CORTA regarding Cooper Creek Tennis Center.

1. Ammunition for Public Safety Departments (Annual Contract) ? RFB No. 09-0048

Scope of RFB

Provide ammunition and munitions of various types and quantities on an ?as

needed? basis to Columbus Consolidated Government (the City) to be utilized by

the Public Safety Departments. The contract term will be for two (2) years

with option to renew for three (3) additional twelve-month periods.

1. Juvenile Drug Court Treatment Providers ? RFP No. 09-0023

Scope of RFP

The Columbus Consolidated Government, Juvenile Drug Court, is seeking proposals

from qualified providers to partner with to provide treatment to Drug Court

participants in the following areas: Anger Management, Crisis Intervention and

Individual and Family Counseling. The term of the contract will be for one (1)

year.



July 8, 2009

1. Fire Station No. 2 - RFB No. 09-0050

Scope of RFB

Provide construction services for Fire Station No. 2. The 3-bay fire station

will be located at 33rd Street and 11th Avenue. The work consists of, but is

not limited to, the following major elements: concrete slab on grade, load

bearing masonry walls with brick veneer, wood roof trusses, metal roofing

(approximately 4,200 square feet for apparatus and approximately 3,800 square

feet for dormitory style housing). The work includes all civil, paving,

landscaping, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing.
