An Ordinance amending the Zoning Atlas of the Consolidated Government

of Columbus, Georgia; this amendment changes certain boundaries of a district

located on the east side of Schomburg Road, east of North Stadium Drive, from

RE1 (Residential Estate 1) District to NC (Neighborhood Commercial) District.



THE COUNCIL OF COLUMBUS, GEORGIA, HEREBY ORDAINS:



That the Zoning Atlas on file with the Planning Division of the Department

of Community and Economic Development be, and the same is hereby amended by

changing the following described property from RE1 (Residential Estate 1)

District to NC (Neighborhood Commercial) District:



Commencing at an iron stake located at the northwest corner of the intersection

of North Stadium Drive and Schomburg Road and thence running North 11 degrees

34 minutes 18 seconds East a distance of 265.68 feet to an iron stake on the

east right-of-way line of Schomburg Road that marks the POINT OF BEGINNING;

thence running South 89 degrees 15 minutes 37 seconds East a distance of 534.46

feet to an iron stake; thence running South 89 degrees 15 minutes 37 seconds

East a distance of 20.0 feet to a point which marks the centerline of a creek;

thence running south a distance of 399 +/- feet along said centerline of creek

to a point; thence running South 02 degrees 35 minutes 11 seconds East a

distance of 113.57 feet to an iron stake; thence running South 83 degrees 40

minutes 16 seconds West a distance of 611.31 feet to an iron stake located on

the east right-of-way line of Schomburg Road; thence running North 06 degrees

19 minutes 44 seconds West along said right-of-way line a distance of 546.19

feet to an iron stake that marks the POINT OF BEGINNING.

Introduced at a regular meeting of the Council of Columbus, Georgia held on

the 13th day of March, 2007; introduced a second time at a regular meeting of

said Council held on the day of __ , 2007 and adopted at said

meeting by the affirmative vote of members of said Council.
