MINUTES OF SPECIAL CALLED MEETING
May 29, 2012
A special meeting of the Columbus Iron Works Convention and Trade Center
Authority was called on May 29, 2012 to discuss the position of Executive
Director and interview process.
Authority Members Present: Chairman Colin Martin, Mr. Jed Harris, Mr. Robert
Nobles, Dr. Kim Peters and Ms. Gloria Strode
Administrative Members Present: Ms. Chasity Hall
Call to Order Chairman Colin Marin called the meeting at 8:40AM.
On the motion of Mr. Robert Nobles and second by Mrs. Gloria Strode, the
Authority moved to Executive Session at 8:41 AM to discuss the executive
director position and conduct interviews with the three potential candidates.
The Authority members exited Executive Session at 12:52 PM. Chairman Colin
Martin stated that a unanimous decision had been made regarding the executive
director and results would be disclosed at a later date.
Adjournment With no further items of business to discuss, the meeting was
adjourned at 12:53 PM. The next regular meeting, which is held the fourth
Thursday of each month, will be held at 12:00 noon, June 28, 2012.
