(1) 2nd Reading ? Petition One - Property located at 4400 Beallwood Avenue is

proposed for rezoning from NC (Neighborhood Commercial) zoning district to GC

(General Commercial) zoning district. (2-A-10-Swenson) (Councilor McDaniel)

The proposed use is for Auto Repair and Auto Sales. The Planning Advisory

Commission and the Planning Department recommend approval. (See Item No. 9

below) Approved



(2) 2nd Reading - An ordinance amending Personnel Policy No. 220-505 so as to

specify new qualifications for members of the Personnel Review Board; and for

other purposes. (Mayor Pro-Tem Pugh) Approved



(3) 2nd Reading - An Ordinance providing a 120-day extension to the moratorium

on filing applications for billboard and multi-message signs so that said

moratorium shall expire at midnight on Friday, July 23, 2010; and for other

and the Planning Department recommend conditional approval. (Delayed two weeks

(6) 1st Reading - Property located at 3832 Trask Drive & 1600 Ft. Benning Drive

is proposed for rezoning from RMF2 (Residential Multi Family 2) zoning district

to GC (General Commercial) zoning district. (1-CA-10-McKenna) (Councilor

McDaniel) The proposed use is for Medical Office. The Planning Advisory

Commission recommends approval and the Planning Department recommends

conditional approval. (Delayed 30 days from February 23, 2010) Delayed until

May 11, 2010



(7) 1st Reading ? Property Located at 1100, 1126 and 1150 Morris Road is

proposed for rezoning from LMI (Light Manufacturing Industrial) zoning district

to SFR4 (Single Family Residential 4) zoning district. (5-D-10-Martin)

(Councilor McDaniel) The proposed use is for Single Family Residential. The

Planning Advisory Commission recommends conditional approval and the Planning

Department recommends denial. Delayed not to exceed 120 days



(8) 1st Reading ? Property located at 3604 Hamilton Road is proposed for

rezoning from RMF1 (Residential Multi Family 1) zoning district to NC

(Neighborhood Commercial) zoning district. (4-D-10-Hartin) (Council McDaniel)

The proposed use is for Professional Business Office. The Planning Advisory

Commission recommends conditional approval and the Planning Department

recommends denial.





R E S O L U T I O N S:



(9) Petition Two - Property located at 4400 Beallwood

Avenue is proposed for a special exception use in a GC (General Commercial)

zoning district. The proposed use is for Auto Sales on less than 2 acres. The

property is currently zoned NC (Neighborhood Commercial). Auto sales are

prohibited in a Neighborhood Commercial zone, however in a General Commercial

zone, auto sales are permitted by approval of a special exception use request.

Petition Two is contingent upon approval of Petition One. The Planning

Advisory Commission and the Planning Department recommend approval. APPROVED
