A RESOLUTION

A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE APPOINTMENT OF MRS. REATHER HOLLOWELL AS DIRECTOR
OF THE DEPARTMENT OF HUMAN RESOURCES.
WHEREAS, the recruitment process for the human resources director position
involved nationwide advertisement; and,
WHEREAS, a selection process was used that included a selection team of Deputy
City Managers David Arrington and Lisa Goodwin, Finance Director Pam Hodge and
HR Director Tom Barron, a second round of interviews with City Manager Isaiah
Hugley and the Honorable Mayor Teresa Pike Tomlinson, in accordance with the
Columbus, Georgia Charter ? 4-102(3), the City Manager is bringing forward for
confirmation of Council an internal candidate Reather Hollowell as director of
the Department of Human Resources.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE COUNCIL OF COLUMBUS, GEORGIA, HEREBY RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:
That the City Manager is hereby authorized to appoint Mrs. Reather Hollowell as
Director of Human Resources Department at Pay Grade 26C.
