(1) 2ND Reading - Property located at 1939 and 1943 Wynnton Road are proposed

for rezoning from RO (Residential-Office) District to GC (General

Commercial)District. (48-A-07 Gibson) (Councilor McDaniel) The proposed use is

pharmacy/lunch counter. The Planning Advisory Commission and the Planning

Division recommend approval.



(2) 2ND Reading - Property located at 7519 Fortson Road are proposed for

rezoning from NC (Neighborhood Commercial) District to GC (General Commercial)

District. (47-A-07 Milner) (Councilor McDaniel). The proposed use is

retail/commercial services. The Planning Advisory Commission and the Planning

Division recommend approval.



(3) Authorization is requested to pay employees for unused sick leave in

accordance with Section 16B-15-6(2) of the Columbus Ordinance. An agenda

(4) Resolution excusing Mayor Pro Tem Evelyn Turner Pugh from the

November 20, 2007 Council Meeting.



(5) Application of Richard Bishop to temporarily close the Dillingham

Street Bridge, on Thursday, November 29, 2007, from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., in

connection with ?Night of Lights? pedestrian safety. (The Police Department

recommends approval.)

Scope of RFP

The Columbus Consolidated Government (The City) requires the services of a

qualified contractor to provide and maintain plants at the Columbus Civic

Center.



2. Digital Cameras ? PQ No. 08-0003

Scope of Quote

Provide five (5) Canon EOS30D digital cameras and four (4) Canon Speedlite 580

EX digital cameras to be used by the Columbus Police Department.



3. Pre-Manufactured Traffic Calming Devices (Annual Contract) ? RFP No. 08-0010

Scope of RFP

The Consolidated Government of Columbus, Georgia (the City) is seeking

proposals to purchase pre-manufactured traffic calming devices for installation

and evaluation for a period of 12 months. The traffic calming devices will be

purchased from responding vendors and installed using City forces. At the end

of the 12-month test period the City will evaluate the devices and choose one

vendor to enter into a multi year contract to purchase additional traffic

calming devices.

Scope of Bid

Provide all labor, equipment and materials to install new modified bituminous

membrane roofing systems at Fire Station #6 (1126 Brown Avenue) and roof

repairs at Auto Fleet Warehouse (1011 Cusseta Road).



Written requests for approval of any materials submitted on this project as

"Equals or Substitutes" for the specified material must be submitted prior to

or at the mandatory pre-bid conference/site visit.
