A RESOLUTION 
                             NO.                         
 A RESOLUTION APPROVING A SPECIAL EXCEPTION USE TO PERMIT A PLACE OF WORSHIP ON    
 PROPERTY LESS THAN 2 ACRES LOCATED AT 1726 BOXWOOD PLACE.       
 WHEREAS, Mr. Jim Hilt has appropriately applied for a Special Exception Use to    
 permit a Place of Worship on property less than 2 acres, on the property    
 described above;        
 WHEREAS, a Place of Worship on property less than 2 acres, is permitted solely    
 as a Special Exception Use under the current GC (General Commercial) zoning    
 district;        
 WHEREAS, the Planning Department has reviewed the request and recommends    
 approval.       
 NOW, THEREFORE, THE COUNCIL OF COLUMBUS, GEORGIA, HEREBY RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:       
 	That all the criteria of Section 10.2.7.B have been met and that a    
 Special Exception Use for a Place of Worship on property less than 2 acres, be    
 granted for the property at of 1726 Boxwood Place.

 Introduced at a regular meeting of the Council of Columbus, Georgia, held the    
 26th day of April, 2011, and adopted at said meeting by the affirmative vote of    
        members of said Council.
