A RESOLUTION APPROVING A SPECIAL EXCEPTION USE TO ALLOW OPERATION OF A SCHOOL
ON PROPERTY LOCATED AT 3001 AIRPORT THRUWAY.
WHEREAS, Michael A. Eddings on behalf of Kingdom Ministries has appropriately
applied for a Special Exception Use, to allow operation of a school on the
property described above;
WHEREAS, Private Schools are solely as a Special Exception Use under the
current GC (General Commercial) zoning district;
WHEREAS, the Planning Advisory Commission and the Planning Department has
reviewed the request and recommends approval.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE COUNCIL OF COLUMBUS, GEORGIA, HEREBY RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:
That all the criteria of Section 10.2.7.B of the Unified Development Ordinance
has been properly met and a Special Exception Use to allow operation of a
school, is granted for the property located at 3001 Airport Thruway.

Introduced at a regular meeting of the Council of Columbus, Georgia, held the
23rd day of November, 2010, and adopted at said meeting by the affirmative vote
of members of said Council.
