RE: Nomination of Linda Parker to be Democratic Party representative
on the Columbus Consolidated Government Elections Board for term starting in
2012

Per our previous conversations, on behalf of the Muscogee County
Democratic Party, I am pleased to nominate Linda Parker to be our
representative in the important work of the Columbus Consolidated Government?s
Board of Elections. We understand that you (or state regulations) require two
other names be submitted as well. They are Mary Jane Galer and Juanita Booker.
Please place these names, with a strong preference for Linda Parker,
into consideration before City Council at the first opportunity. Would it be
possible to place it before City Council on Tuesday, January 10, 2012, in time
for the Elections Board meeting on January 12th, this upcoming Thursday?
