I. CITY RIGHT OF WAY AGREEMENT FOR INTERSECTION IMPROVEMENT @ MUTEC

DRIVE (CORPORATE RIDGE)/WOODRUFF FARM ROAD:



Authorization is requested to execute a City Right of Way Agreement

with the Georgia Department of Transportation (DOT) for a County Contract for

Intersection Improvement on Mutec Drive (Corporate Ridge Parkway) @ Woodruff

II. AGREEMENT - GEORGIA SOUTHWESTERN RAILROAD, INC.:



Authorization is requested to execute an agreement with Georgia Southwestern

Railroad, Inc., for reimbursement of material, labor, equipment and

Engineering Services in the amount of $272,347 incurred by the Railroad for the

replacement of the City's existing combined sewer system, 6th Avenue & Side

III. MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING WITH UPTOWN COLUMBUS - RIVER RESTORATION

PROJECT:



Authorization is requested to enter into a Memorandum of Understanding

with Uptown Columbus, Inc., for the development and construction of the River

Restoration Project and to apply for grant funding as identified for the

project provided the grant does not require City matching funds exceeding the

amount previously allocated by the City to the project. An agenda report and

IV. CROWN CASTLE LEASE RENEWAL:



Authorization is requested for the renewal of the Tower Site Lease with

Crown Castle, Inc., and grant a utility easement for installation of

V. GEORGIA DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION - RAILS TO TRAILS FUNDING FOR PHASE

III:



Authorization is requested to enter into a Supplemental Agreement with

the Georgia Department of Transportation to receive $1,119,017.90 for the Rails

to Trails Phase III Project. An agenda report, agreement and resolution are

VI. FORT BENNING ENHANCEMENT PROJECT - I-185/VICTORY DRIVE INTERCHANGE:



Authorization is requested to enter into a Supplemental Agreement with

for the Fort Benning Enhancement Project at I-185/Victory Drive Interchange.

VII. STREET ACCEPTANCE - CHATTSWORTH COURT LOCATED OFF CHATTSWORTH ROAD:



Authorization is requested for the acceptance of a deed to Chattsworth

VIII. AGREEMENT - NORFOLK SOUTHERN/CENTRAL OF GEORGIA RAILROAD, COMPANY:



Authorization is requested to execute an agreement with Norfolk

Southern/Central of Georgia Railroad Company for reimbursement of expenses

incurred, not to exceed $25,000, for inspections and supervision related to the

demolition and replacement of an overhead pedestrian bridge located on Cusseta

1. CM/GC-at-Risk Services for City Service Center Complex ?RFP No. 11-0002

Scope of RFP

Columbus Consolidated Government desires to select a qualified Contractor with

the intent of both parties executing an Agreement for Construction Services

implementing the ?Construction Management/General Contractor at Risk? project

delivery method.



The proposed project shall consist of constructing three structures and all

associated site work. One shall be known as the Parking Deck, the second shall

be known as the City Service Center, and the third shall be referred to as the

Natatorium.



The size of the project site is approximately nine acres and is located in the

Southeast corner of the Rigdon and Macon Road intersection in Columbus, Georgia.



2. Geotechnical-Environmental Testing Services (Annual Contract) ? RFP No

11-0003

Scope of RFP

Provide Columbus Consolidated Government, Engineering Department with

geotechnical environmental testing services for soil and construction material

testing for the development or design of various construction projects on an

?as needed basis?. The contract shall be for two years, with the option to

renew for three (3) additional twelve-month periods; contingent upon the mutual

agreement of the City and the Contractor (s).

1. Laboratory Services (Annual Contract) ? RFP No. 11-0004

Scope of RFP

Provide the Columbus Consolidated Government (the City) (an NPDES Phase I

community) with laboratory analytical services required for the City?s Storm

Water permit. The term of the contract will be three (3) years with option to

renew for two (2) additional twelve (12) month periods.

Scope of Bid

Upgrade the shower and restroom facilities on the basement level of the Public

Safety Building, which is located at 510 10th Street, Columbus, GA.



September 15, 2010

1. 14th Street Pedestrian Bridge ? RFB No. 11-0002

Scope of Bid

Provide renovations of an existing bridge structure spanning the Chattahoochee

River at 14th Street into a pedestrian (only) bridge. The work will include

structural repairs, remediation and modifications of the existing concrete and

earthen bridge and its foundation.
