Public Information Open House
for
Forrest Road Improvements from Macon Road to Woodruff Farm Road
COLUMBUS ? A Public Information Open House is scheduled for Thursday, March 1,
to discuss the Columbus Consolidated Government?s proposed project for Forrest
Road. The meeting will be held at Edgewood Baptist Church, 3564 Forrest Road,
in Columbus. The public is invited to attend any time between 5:30 and 7 p.m.
No formal presentation will be given.
The purpose of this informal open house is to provide the public an opportunity
to ask questions and comment on recent changes to the proposed project to widen
and reconstruct Forrest Road. This proposed project begins at Macon Road and
continues to Woodruff Farm Road/Floyd Road.
Columbus residents interested in learning more are encouraged to attend, view
displays, express thoughts and concerns with Columbus Consolidated Government
representatives, and provide written comments. After this event, meeting
handouts will be available online at www.forrestroad.wordpress.com.
Written statements will be accepted concerning this project until March 30,
