O R D I N A N C E S:
(1) 1st Reading - Rezoning property located at 1346 Webster Avenue is proposed
for rezoning from GC (General Commercial) District to LMI (Light
Manufacturing/Industrial) District. (12-CA-07-River City Beverages, LLC)
(Councilor McDaniel) (The Planning Advisory Commission and the Planning
Division recommend conditional approval.)
(2) 1st Reading - Rezoning property located at 3855 and 3884 Warm Springs Road
is proposed for rezoning from NC (Neighborhood Commercial) District to GC
(General Commercial) District. (7-D-07-Smith) (Councilor McDaniel) (The
Planning Advisory Commission recommends approval and the Planning Division
recommends denial.)
(3) 1st Reading - Rezoning property located at 3801 South Lumpkin Road is
proposed for rezoning from GC (General Commercial) District and HMI (Heavy
Manufacturing/Industrial) Districts to RO (Residential Office) District.

(4) 1st Reading - Rezoning property located at 2229 South Lumpkin Road is
proposed for rezoning from RO (Residential-Office) District to GC (General

Advisory Commission and the Planning Division recommend approval.)
(5) 1st Reading - Rezoning property located at east side of Schomburg Road,
east of North Stadium Drive is proposed for rezoning from RE1 (Residential
Estate 1) District to NC (Neighborhood Commercial) District. (6-A-07-Yellow
Hammer, LLC) (Councilor McDaniel) (The Planning Advisory Commission and the
Planning Division recommend approval) (Delayed from March 13, 2007)
(6) 1st Reading - An ordinance regulating vehicular traffic in Columbus,
Georgia by deleting from the ?official street map, City of Columbus, Georgia?
the street segment and right-of-way of South Stadium Drive from the west
dead-end east a distance of 166.83 feet; providing that all existing utility
easements of record remain in effect and providing appropriate width as
required by the applicable utility companies will be reserved for unknown
utilities; authorizing the disposal of said property in accordance with the
Columbus Charter; repealing any conflicting ordinances; and for other purposes.

(7) Expressing appreciation to Mr. David M. Tyler upon his retirement
with the Engineering Department, after 18 years of service. (Mayor Pro-Tem Pugh)
(8) Expressing appreciation to Mr. Bobby R. Ellerbee upon his retirement with
the Columbus Fire/EMS Department, after 31 years of service. (Mayor Pro-Tem

(9) Expressing appreciation to Mr. Charles R. Walker upon his retirement
with the Columbus Police Department/Investigative Services, after 26 years of

(10) Conveying condolences to the family of Mr. Willie B. Pollock, employee
with the Columbus Police Department, who passed away on January 28, 2007.
