An Ordinance amending the Zoning Atlas of the Consolidated Government

of Columbus, Georgia; this amendment changes certain boundaries of a district

located at 6650 Buena Vista Road from SFR2 (Single Family Residential) District

to RMF2 (Residential Multi-Family 2), GC (General Commercial), and NC

(Neighborhood Commercial) District.



THE COUNCIL OF COLUMBUS, GEORGIA, HEREBY ORDAINS:



That the Zoning Atlas on file with the Planning Division of the

Department of Community and Economic Development be, and the same is hereby

amended by changing the following described property from SFR2 (Single Family

Residential) District to RMF2 (Residential Multi-Family 2) District:



Commencing at the southwest corner of the intersection of Buena Vista Road and

Moye Road and thence running West along Buena Vista Road a distance of 372.88

feet to an iron pin; thence running West a distance of 119.29 feet to an iron

pin; thence running South a distance of 195.00 feet to a point which marks the

POINT OF BEGINNING; thence running South a distance of 1,438.67 feet to an iron

pin; thence running East a distance of 350.2 feet to an iron pin; thence

running North a distance of 41.61 feet to an iron pin; thence running North a

distance of 1,071.47 feet to an iron pin; thence running East a distance of

26.5 feet to a point; thence running North a distance of 78.93 feet to a point;

thence running East along a curve a distance of 123.76 feet to a point; thence

running West along a curve a distance of 177.30 feet to a point; thence running

West a distance of 304.03 feet to a point which marks the POINT OF BEGINNING.



That the Zoning Atlas on file with the Planning Division of the Department of

Community and Economic Development be, and the same is hereby amended by

changing the following described property from SFR2 (Single Family Residential)

District to GC (General Commercial) District:



BEGINNING at the southwest corner of the intersection of Buena Vista Road and

Moye Road and thence running West along Buena Vista Road a distance of 251.00

feet to a point; thence running South a distance of 181.65 feet to an iron pin;

thence running East along a curve a distance of 100.21 feet to a point; thence

running East a distance of 180.34 feet to an iron pin; thence running North

along the curve of Moye Road a distance of 254.00 feet to the POINT OF

BEGINNING.



That the Zoning Atlas on file with the Planning Division of the Department of

Community and Economic Development be, and the same is hereby amended by

changing the following described property from SFR2 (Single Family Residential)

District to NC (Neighborhood Commercial) District:



Commencing at the southwest corner of the intersection of Buena Vista Road and

Moye Road and thence running West along Buena Vista Road a distance of 251.00

feet to a point that marks the POINT OF BEGINNING; thence running West a

distance of 122.50 feet to an iron pin; thence running West a distance of

119.29 feet to an iron pin; thence running South a distance of 195.00 feet to a

point; thence running East a distance of 304.03 feet to an iron pin; thence

running East along a curve a distance of 177.30 feet to a point; thence running

West along a curve a distance of 123.76 feet to a point; thence running South a

distance of 78.93 feet to a point; thence running East a distance of 334.92

feet to an iron pin; thence running North along the curve of Moye Road a

distance of 29.26 feet to an iron pin; thence running North along the curve of

Moye Road a distance of 178.52 feet to an iron pin; thence running North along

the curve of Moye Road a distance of 87.50 feet to a point; thence running West

a distance of 180.34 feet to a point; thence running West along a curve a

distance of 100.21 feet to an iron pin; thence running North a distance of

181.65 feet to an iron pin that marks the POINT OF BEGINNING.



The above-described property is being rezoned with the following condition:



Deceleration lanes shall be required as determined by the City Traffic Engineer.
