O R D I N A N C E S:
(1) 1st Reading - Rezoning property located at 5446 Armour Road is proposed for
rezoning from GC (General Commercial) District with conditions to GC (General
Commercial) District with amended conditions. (24-CA-06-GLH Development, Inc.)

(2) 1st Reading - An ordinance adopting a budget for the Fiscal Year 2007
beginning July 1, 2006 and ending June 30, 2007, for certain funds of the
Consolidated Government of Columbus, Georgia, and appropriating the amounts
shown in each budget. (Budget Chairperson Pugh) (NOTE: Total amount of
$194,561,237)
(3) 1st Reading ? An ordinance adopting non-operating budgets for the Fiscal
Year 2007 beginning July 1, 2006 and ending June 30, 2007, for certain funds of
the Consolidated Government of Columbus, Georgia, and appropriating the amounts

(4) 2nd Reading - Rezoning property located at 5004 Warm Springs Road is
proposed for rezoning from SFR1 (Single Family Residential 1) District to NC

(5) 2nd Reading - Rezoning property located on Highway 80 East, east of Pratt
Whitney and west of PCI, is proposed for rezoning from RE1 (Residential-Estate
1) District to SFR3 (Single Family Residential 3) District. (25-CA-06-Thayer)

Planning Division recommend conditional approval.)
(6) 2nd Reading ? An ordinance regulating the vehicular traffic in Columbus,
Georgia by establishing a No Parking Zone along the street segment of 1st
Avenue designated herein South of 9th Street, 160 feet of the east curb, said
street being within the central business district; authorizing the installation
of official traffic control signs indicating said restrictions; repealing
conflicting ordinances and for other purposes. (Councilor McDaniel)
R E S O L U T I O N S:
(7) Commending and congratulating Columbus Police Officer Kelly O. Mangol upon
receiving the Lifesaving Award at a ceremony held at the Public Safety Complex
on May 3, 2006. (Mayor Poydasheff)
(8) Commending and congratulating Police Officer Ralph Dudley upon receiving
the Officer of the Year Award at a ceremony held at the Public Safety Complex
on May 3, 2006. (Mayor Poydasheff)
(9) Commending and congratulating the Georgia Humanities Council upon
recognizing several Columbus students as winners in its National History Day
competition. (Mayor Poydasheff)
(10) Commending Teen Advisors, Inc. for their outreach to high school students
in the Columbus community and across the country. (Councilor Suber)
