I. SHIRLEY WINSTON PARK CELL TOWER LEASE:
Authorization is requested to execute a five (5) year property lease agreement
with Vantage Tower Group, LLC for space at the entrance of Shirley Winston
Park that will used to install and operate a telecommunication facility. An

II. FY11 FAMILY CONNECTION GRANT:
Authorization is requested to submit an application and, if approved, accept a
$50,000 grant from the Georgia Department of Human Services to continue as a
Family Connection Community in order to improve child health, school
performance, family stability, family economic capacity, reduce child abuse,
neglect and teenage pregnancy. An agenda report and resolution are attached.

III. STREET ACCEPTANCE - THAT PORTION OF SILVERADO DRIVE AND PORTION OF SONOMA
COURT LOCATED IN SECTION VI, SONOMA POINTE AND SECTION VI, STONE CREEK:
Authorization is requested to accept a deed to that portion of
Silverado Drive and portion of Sonoma Court located in Section VI, Sonoma
Pointe and Section VI, Stone Creek. The Department of Engineering has
inspected these streets and recommends the acceptance. An agenda report, map

IV. GEORGIA FORESTRY COMMISSION - COOPERATIVE AGREEMENT:
Authorization is requested to approve an agreement with the Georgia
Forestry Commission for operation of the forestry program in the amount of
$4,240, (10? per acre - Fire Protection). The assessment is based on the
number of commercial private forest acres within Muscogee County under the Fire

Authorization is requested for the approval of the Revised Baker
Village Revitalization Strategy and endorsement of an application by the
Housing Authority of Columbus and their development partner, Columbia
Residential, to the Georgia Department of Community Affairs for low-income tax
credits to construct the proposed Baker Village Apartments -- Phase III. An

1. Scale System Data Collection Software ? RFP No. 10-0021
A Mandatory Site Visit/ Pre-Proposal Conference is scheduled for Wednesday,
June 16, 2010.
The Site Visit will take place beginning at 9:00 AM (Eastern) at Pine Grove MSW
Landfill Scale House, which is located at 7160 Sacerdote Lane, Columbus, GA.
Vendors will be required to sign-in at the Site Visit to show proof of their
visit. There will be a 10-minute grace period. The actual Site Visit will begin
at 9:10 AM and Landfill Staff will be available to show vendors around the
Landfill. Vendors shall review the site and prepare questions for the
Pre-Proposal Conference.
The Pre-Proposal Conference will take place at 1:00 PM (Eastern) at Public
Services, 602 11th Avenue, Bldg E, Columbus, Georgia. The conference will
convene in the Public Services conference room. Vendors will be allowed a
10-minute grace period. Any vendor who is not present in the conference room
within 10 minutes after the time slated for the beginning of the mandatory
pre-proposal conference shall not be allowed to participate any further in the
proposal process.

The Columbus Consolidated Government (the City) is seeking proposals for a
vendor to provide software for the scale system at two (2) inert landfills and
one (1) Municipal Solid Waste (MSW) landfill in Columbus, Muscogee County,
Georgia. The software will track every aspect of landfill transactions.

Construct a roundabout at the intersection of Warm Springs Road and Blackmon
